Dear 2010 Baking Volunteers,
The Canteen will be officially open at 8:30am. Please bring your baked goods (2 dozen nut-free snacks) to the pool by 8:30-9:00am and leave them with a member of the canteen staff at the canteen door or window. Please ensure that your baked goods are labeled with your name and date.
Please note that for each baking date assigned, 2 dozen of whatever baked goods must be provided. Examples are muffins, slices of cake, cupcakes, pancakes, croissants, donuts, etc... They must be free of nuts (ie. not contain nuts, but may be prepared at a facility that contains nuts). It is impossible to control whether or not home baking is in a nut-free kitchen, therefore all those with a serious nut allergy should not be consuming baked goods from the canteen.
If for some reason you cannot honor your baking duties, please find a replacement to carry out your duty. A Baking list will be posted on the board at the entrance of the pool. Please mark the change on the sheet entitled "Canteen Baking". You may drop off your baking the night before your assigned date, at the canteen until the close of the day. Please check the website for closing times. Also, please mark your baked goods with your name, and date assigned.
Thanks for your co-operation!
