Volunteers Needed!
WAC is an organization that relies solely on it's volunteers. All members are responsible to volunteer or to pay the $40 waiver fee.

Volunteer tasks are typically assigned on registration day. If you are registering by mail or have missed the registration deadline, please contact Alison Racine (see the Contact_Us page) to arrange your volunteer obligation. Failure to do so will result in an outstanding fee for the following year
The following is a list of positions for which we have immediate needs:

New for 2011: There are no more baking positions.

This year we are reducing the number of volunteer tasks to be completed.  Now each family is asked to complete ONE task.  As a result, we have greatly reduced the number of volunteer positions that need to be filled and have tried to distribute the work load more equally.

Families that have children participating in swim meets are required to participate at one of these events.  Families with several children on swim teams are asked to volunteer for more than one swim meet.  This will fulfill your volunteer participation requirement for the season.

New members are exempt from volunteering their first year at the pool as it will give them an opportunity to observe how the pool runs and what the various positions involve.

Here is a list, and a brief description of the available volunteer positions for the 2011 season:
